Account Menu And Pages

Logout

Purpose: To prevent other users from accessing Online PTO using your account, you should log out.

Access via: Main Menu > Logout

Restrictions: None. All users may log out.

Password

Purpose: To change your current password.

Access via: Main Menu > Account > Password

Restrictions: None. All users may change their own password.

Settings

Purpose: To change your account settings (e.g. for email, date, and time formats).

Access via: Main Menu > Account > Settings

Restrictions: None. All users may change their own settings.

List/Search

Purpose: To list Online PTO login accounts for your organization.

Access via: Main Menu > Account > List/Search

Restrictions: Users with account_edit or account_list access may list all accounts.

Notes: Click on an email address to edit the associated account.

Checking or unchecking the boxes in the tag column will tag or untag the associated account immediately; you do not have to click anything else.

View/Edit

Purpose: To add a new account or view or edit existing account details.

Access via: Main Menu > Account > Add New to add a new account or click on an account name in the Main Menu > Account > List/Search list to view or edit an existing account.

Restrictions: Users with account_edit may add, view, or edit accounts; users with account_list may view any account.

Tagged

Purpose: To list tagged (remembered) accounts. Tagged accounts are listed as options when associating accounts with other resources, such as people, groups, and ledgers.

Access via: Main Menu > Account > Tagged

Restrictions: Users with account_edit or account_list access may list tagged accounts.

Add New

Purpose: Add a new Online PTO account.

Access via: Main Menu > Account > Add New

Restrictions: Users with account_admin access may add new accounts.

Authlog

Purpose: Displays the authentication log (logins, account switches, password changes, etc), with the most recent entries first.

Access via: Main Menu > Account > Authlog

Restrictions: Users with authlog access may display the authentication log.

Switch

Purpose: Switch to another account in order to provide remote assistance or revert to your login account after switching.

Access via: Main Menu > Account > Switch

Restrictions: Users with account_switch access may switch accounts. All switched-to accounts may revert back to the login account.

Notes: Account switching is logged in the authentication log. Activities such as marketplace orders or ledger transactions will record the login account, not the switched-to account.

You cannot switch to an account with an administrator level higher than your own.

Your administrator login account password must be supplied to switch accounts (not the target account's password).

Revert Account

Purpose: Return to the login account after switching accounts.

Access via: Main Menu > Revert Account or Main Menu > Account > Switch

Restrictions: All switched-to accounts may revert to the login account.

Notes: Do not switch to another user's account, turn your session over to them, and walk away—they can revert to your administrative account.
